PART 1
                    






Causeway Point - Causeway Point is located next to the Woodlands MRT station and bus interchange. It has more than 250 shops and offers numerous shopping options and good foods. It also offers entertainments such as Cathay Cinema and video arcade Time Zone. A great and convenient place for one to enjoy his/her time with family and friends.

In 2011, Causeway Point won a Green Mark Platinum Award by Building & Construction Authority. It was voted Best Suburban Mall by The Straits Times and awarded the Best A&P Effort Award by the Singapore Retailers Association in 2004.








 
Woodlands Civic Centre- a convenient one-stop location for residents and members of the public to enjoy the use of various government-linked services. It is a place for one to relax and enjoy the many facilities of the centres. Recent upgrading projects have injected even more variety and vibrancy with the entry of new F&B outlets, clinics, enrichment centres and retail outlets, to better serve customers. The Woodlands Regional Library is located in the Civic Centre and the library is the thirteenth branch library to be opened by the National Library Board.







888 Plaza-For residents living in the Woodlands Neighbourhood, this is a shopping centre that can satisfy your needs for a wide variety of goods and services at your doorstep. You can shop for anything from clothes, groceries, stationery, baby goods, toys and even wedding gowns! 888 Plaza has several eateries located within its building such as 888 Plaza Food Court and Pizza Hut Fast Food. The two food courts are popular and well-patronised by the residents. . In the evening, you can enjoy the cool breeze in the open-air garden.








Woodlands Waterfront- a coastal park that consists of a 1.5km long waterfront promenade, a 11-hectare park, a large multi-generational playground and a 400m ex-naval jetty that supports a variety of recreational activities and community events. It is also linked to Admiralty Park and a 25km Northern Explorer Park Connector Network.

The playground consists of many play equipments that caters for both the young and old. The netted Sky Bridges and Sky Cabins which are two-storeys high will attract adventurous and energetic youths and adults. The elderly will find fitness equipment specially suited for their needs, and young children can enjoy the slides and swing equipment.

The 400m jetty is one of the longest coastal jetties in Singapore that offers visitors panoramic views of the park and the Straits of Johor.

If you are lucky, you can catch a glimpse of sea eagles flying low at the open waters to catch fishes.

CMH, one of the service hubs run by Methodist Welfare Services (MWS), is a 224 - bed gazetted residential home for elderly destitute. Residents are referred to the Home by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports. CMH provides healthcare, therapy and counselling services to its residents. Volunteers can offer befriending services, support therapy activities, and organize games or outings.
